Founded in 1949 by Bonnie and Glyn Vinyard with the purpose of providing quality floor covering and installation for Knoxville and surrounding areas making customers into friends.
As a charter member of Knoxville's Better Business Bureau and Home Builders Association, Vinyard Floor Covering Co. grew to include the products and styles needed to satisfy even the most demanding customers.
In 1980, Mr. and Mrs. Vinyard retired; turning the business over to Jim and Karen Wright.
Jim's previous flooring experience gave him the opportunity to continue Vinyard's as a business of tradition for quality, perfection and service.
